Solomon Temple Missionary Baptist Church
-
In August of 2005, the Reverend Curtis Grantham,
Pastor and former Dean of
the Congress of Christian
Workers, retired from his post as Pastor of
Solomon Temple.
His unwavering commitment to the District has left a legacy of
devoted service
that is greatly appreciated. As he guided Solomon Temple in
the acquisition
of their present facility on Holly street in the city of
Denver, CO,
Solomon Temple has flourished under his leadership and God has
continued to
bestow his blessings upon them.
Even though, Rev. Grantham, has retired from active service, he
continues to show his
support for member Churches in the District, in that he was
recently seen at
Union Missionary Baptist Church during their ministry week
celebration. God Bless you and Keep you is our
prayer.

Fifty Six years ago, a small group of dedicated
Christians met together in
the
basement of Zion Baptist Church to form what is now the Union
Missionary
Baptist
Church. During the week of October 19, 2005, the Union
Missionary
Baptist
Church held its annual Ministry Week in conjunction with its
56th
anniversary celebration. Under the leadership of Pastor, Gregory D.
Johnson, PH. D, Union which has recently
reunited with the Salem District held evening services
in which
sister Churches such as Progressive MBC and Union Chapel MBC
enjoyed
spirit
filled services to the glory of God. Congratulations on your 56
years
of
Christian service to the Denver community.

"Congratulations Progressive", for 46 years of
Christian service to the
Denver
community. Pastor Fred L. Brockington and the Progressive
Missionary

Program" (1 Corinthians 12:12-17) Progressive
hosted an afternoon service in which Rev. Willie C.
Jones and
the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church made their presents
known in
song and
praise with Pastor Jones declaring a "word" that reminded
everyone of
the need
to exercise those muscles that the Church has been given.
