About Pastor Sandy Ray Fields, Sr.

 Reverend Sandy Ray Fields was born in Marshall, Texas to the parents of The Reverend Harrison Fields, Sr., and the late Mrs. Willie Mae (Ellis) Fields of Ferriday, Louisiana, Ferriday, April 16,1960. He attended Ferriday Elementary and Junior High Schools and graduated from Leesville High School in Leesville, Louisiana.

He is a 1984 graduate of Grambling State University-- Grambling, Louisiana and a 1987 graduate of the School of Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia.

Shortly after finishing Seminary, he served as assistant to the Pastor, and Minister of Evangelism at the Friendship Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri from October 1987 to October 1990. He also served as professor of Old and New Testament, Christian Education and Theology at Western Bible Collage in Kansas City, Missouri.

The American Christian Leadership council honored him in their 1989 edition of "Who's Who in American Christian Leadership" and Outstanding Young Men of America honored him in their 1989 edition as a Outstanding young Man of America.

He was licensed to preach the gospel January 25,1981 and ordained in the ministry July 26,1981 by the Zion Traveler Baptist Church in Ruston, Louisiana, Rev. Clarence Lee Hicks, Sr., was the Pastor.

He is married to JoHanna Marie Fields of Billings Montana. Reverend Fields is the proud father of one child, a daughter - 12 years old, Jacinda Shante' Fields. and 1 Year old son,  Sandy Ray Fields, Jr.

Since accepting God's call to the ministry he has preached across the country in many cities and states. Reverend Fields was called to Pastor, Mount Paran Baptist Church in Elkton, Virginia, July 7,1991. He served there until December, 1993.

Rev. Fields was Called to pastor, Friendship Baptist Church, September 29,1993. He Started the Pastorate of Friendship Baptist Church January 1, 1994. He served there until January 20, 1997.

I November of 1997 Greater Tri-Rock Missionary Baptist Church asked him to serve as their interim pastor. On February 12, 1998 he was elected the pastor and installed on March 24, 1998 and serve as the proud pastor of the Greater Tri-Rock Missionary Baptist Church, of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Pastor Fields sings with the Spiritual Stairways of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Since being in Colorado Springs Pastor Fields is affiliated with the following organizations -Black Coalition of Concerned Citizens, NAACP, Human Relations Committee and serve as Dean of our State and District Congress, He is also a member of the Ministerial Alliance of Colorado Springs.

He serve as the Recording Secretary of the Education Board of our National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. Pastor Fields is the 2nd Vice-President of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Colorado and a candidate for a Doctorate of Biblical Studies at Andersonville Baptist Seminary, Camilla, Georgia.

He is a native of Ferriday, Louisiana, is a born again Christian and Love the Lord.
